Grommets
It is a reinforced metal or plastic ring used in a banner. It prevents tearing around the holes and makes it easy to hang the banner securely. Grommets can also be used both indoors and outdoors.
Hemming
Folding and stitching the edges of a banner is called hemming. It helps prevent tearing, and when used with grommets, it gives the banner a clean and professional look (almost all of our customers order these two options together). It also makes the banner stronger and more suitable for outdoor use.
Product Care
Fabric Pennant Banners:
To care for your fabric pennant banner, you should clean stains with mild water and soap, store them neatly folded in boxes, and use a lint roller or a handheld vacuum to remove dust/hair. Do not iron your banner, or machine wash it and do not use harsh or abrasive detergents.
Vinyl Pennant Banners:
To remove dust, use a duster or damp cloth. To clean stains on the banners, use cold water, mild soap, and a soft cloth or sponge without using any harsh chemicals. Let the banner dry completely by hanging it up. During storage, try rolling the banner and keep it in shipping or storage tubes instead of folding it as it may crease or wrinkle.
